February 10, 2011 - Lily, an award winning artist, has been invited to participate in the solo gallery of the 2011 International Artexpo New York at the Pier 94 in Manhattan, New York City. Her artwork, themed as the series of journey in Life, are few pieces of artwork among many major artworks from around the world this year to be showcased at the Solo Gallery. The event is Friday to Sunday, 3/25 - 3/27/2011.
About the artist Lily Lihting Li Kostrzewa
Lily, a Taiwan-born artist, who now lives and paints in Michigan, has a BFA degree from National Taiwan Normal University, and both MA and MFA degrees from Central Michigan University. Her style of painting is lush, imaginative, cross-cultural with simple brushstrokes exhibiting complicate layers of colors. Today, Lily is an emerging contemporary fine artist who exhibits widely across the United States. In addition to her many solo exhibitions, Lily has published work in International Contemporary Artist, Volume 1, 2010 and the TECAP Book of Print Exhibit Project 2011 (Toronto East Community Arts Program) and many Taiwanese art publications.
