  • (1888PressRelease) January 24, 2012 - For the second year in a row the Portoghesi exhibition hall of the Tettuccio Spa of Montecatini Terme (Tuscany / Italy) hosted the presentation of the calendar of all the young players of the Gsd MontecatiniMurialdo. The Memolendario, this is the real name, saw the participation of the whole bianco-celeste family formed by the young players but also by the directors, instructors, coaches and parents.

    The evening was enhanced by the presence of the Mayor Dr. Bellandi and Sport city councillor Dr. Pucci thus keeping on showing their closeness to the Club of President Massimiliano Potenza and praising the work done. The major institutonal sporting bodies were also of the evening: CONI (Italian National Olympic Comitee) was represented by Dr. Pierallini while the FIGC (Italian Federation Football Association) saw Mr Giandonati, Mr Riccomi, Mr Teglia and Mr D'Ambrosio all speaking on stage.

    The evening was also an opportunity to recall the enormous amount of work done by Murialdo during the year 2011, which include the introduction of the Murialdo Card (discounts in more than 60 shops in town), the Code of Ethics of the bianco-celeste player, the eighth edition of the international tournament City ​​of Montecatini Terme, the two visits to the Azzurri of coach Prandelli (in Coverciano and Modena for Italy-Estonia), the participation in the organization of the Primavera Championship finals, the tournament Termeland. Now, with the new year 2012, the Club's main goal is to become a fully Qualified Football School.
