(RMKB), a multi-service law firm offering litigation and transactional services nationally and internationally, has added six attorneys to its offices in California, including Nicole S. Healy who joins the firm's Redwood City office as a partner.

    In addition to Healy, RMKB added associates Rachael E. Brown (San Jose), Jaime M. Kurtz (Los Angeles), Ramon A. Miyar (Redwood City), Gary S. Spitzer (Los Angeles) and Justin A. Zucker (Redwood City).

    Healy is a member of the firm's Business and Commercial Litigation, Director/Officer Liability (including Non-Profits) and White Collar Crime practice areas. She represents companies and individuals in matters involving: shareholder class action and derivative litigation; complex commercial disputes - including in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and control matters, disputes regarding intellectual property rights and claims of unlawful, unfair and fraudulent business practices under the California Unfair Business Practices Act; and investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, U.S. Attorney's Offices and other government agencies. Prior to entering private practice, Healy was a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice's Fraud Section, Criminal Division. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (1991) and both a B.A. and a B.S. from the University of California, Davis (1985).

    Brown is member of the firm's Intellectual Property and Business and Commercial Litigation practice areas. Her practice focuses on claims of copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret litigation and disputes arising from contracts and unfair competition. Brown earned her J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law (2012) and her B.S. from Santa Clara University (2009).

    Kurtz is a member of the firm's Business and Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property practice areas. Prior to joining the firm, she worked on serious injury and wrongful death cases, including defective products, airplane crashes, recreational injuries and automobile accidents, and co-tried several successful jury trials. She received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School (2007) and her B.A. from the University of Southern California (2004).

    Miyar is a member of the firm's Employment and Intellectual Property practice areas. He represents clients in the technology, manufacturing, food and beverage, retail and insurance industries. Miyar earned his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law (2012) and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (2008).

    Spitzer is a litigator with more than 20 years of experience and a member of the firm's Professional Liability, Business and Commercial Litigation, Employment and Coverage practice areas. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (1991) and his B.A. from the University of Southern California (1987).

    Zucker is a member of the firm's Environmental practice group. His practice focuses on environmental law and insurance defense litigation. He earned his J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (2011) along with his M.A. in environmental studies from Cleveland State University (2011). He received his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin (2006).
