  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2012 - Reality star and former supermodel Janice Dickinson, who has previously appeared as a judge on America's Next Top Model, as well as an array of other reality shows, has officially signed on to walk the runway during the " The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS" Reality Star Runway Show. This first-of it's-kind event will take place for New York City Fashion Week on February 9, 2013 to raise a goal of $300,000+ in honor of the 300,000 people in the United States who are unaware they are infected with HIV/AIDS. This event will benefit the AIDS United organization, which works to fund various HIV/AIDS not-for-profits, grant programs, easy treatment access, housing programs and much more throughout the United States.

    Janice Dickinson began her career in the early 1970s and by the 1980s, she was considered a supermodel, and her name and face became a standard for aspiring models to achieve. By the early 2000s, she was making her television debut as a host for America's Next Top Model alongside Tyra Banks, and later, she starred in her own reality show, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. She has since then been featured in several other reality shows, including I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Surreal Life.
