This is the second time in 3 years that we have won this award and reflects a huge amount of hard work over many years and is a fantastic endorsement of the services and IT solutions we provide to our clients.
"None of this would be possible without our staff. Each individual plays a vital role in the client engagement lifecycle and in support of this we have rolled out a significant programme of training and development. The results have been pleasing, with customer satisfaction surveys returning a rating of 98%.
"Being named 2011 IT Supplier of the Year is a great honour for all of us, especially against such strong and notable competition. I know that winning this award will motivate us all to work even harder to retain the high standards to which we all aspire."
David Clarke, Chief Executive Officer of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, said: "On behalf of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, I'd like to congratulate all our winners, medallists and finalists. The awards are very rigorously judged so to be a winner or medallist means that you really are the best of the best.
"The variety of organisations from across different sectors that collected awards this year reinforce the fact that today the IT profession is integrated into the business and is increasingly being seen as a partner that can help deliver real value, benefit and success.
"It also highlights the extent to which IT is embedded in our society, from our healthcare, the high street and car production, to the stage; IT is the enabler behind so many businesses in the UK."
The awards are sponsored by Computing Magazine and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
The BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards provide a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.
