    The symposium takes place Oct. 19-23 in Houston and provides a forum for participants to discuss state-of-the-art innovations, including smart grid technologies. The event theme is "Technology for the 21st Century Electric Utility" and is hosted by the CIGRE US National Committee and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
