  • (1888PressRelease) February 09, 2011 - LOS ANGELES, CA - The popular band, Teen Heart, has announced the upcoming release of their new song, "Maybe Someday," on the myRMX app. Their latest release will be in time for Valentine's Day.

"I wanted to make a mixPACK because myRMX is a fun and cool game," said Kelly Orr, lead singer of Teen Hearts. "It allows our fans to remix our music and share those mixes with friends phone to phone. It's the evolution of Guitar Hero and opens up our music to a worldwide audience and market."

The app is an entirely new mobile music experience allowing users to remix music on their mobile phone for a unique, interactive encounter. Using the original stems from the bands studio session the fans can re-imagine a portion of the bands song. This style of a mobile app represents the next generation of how users interact musically. The myRMX app is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch on iTunes and for Nokia phones through Nokia's Ovi Store, with a targeted audience of 250 million handsets worldwide.

The addition of Teen Heart's song to the myRMX app provides fans with a variety of opportunities. The band has been taking audiences by storm since its inception in 2009. Based in Orange Co., CA, the group plays a mix of electronica, pop and rock. Their unique sound instantly clicked with fans and earned them the respect of industry professionals.

Their debut EP, "The Heartsbeat EP," was produced by Hellogoodbye front man, Forrest Kline, and was self-released in Dec. 2008. With the personal endorsement of Hellogoodbye, along with MySpace promotion, the band created instant online interest. They quickly rose to the top of the MySpace charts as the number one unsigned artist.

The band's songs, "Hands in the Air," "Hollywood Hearts" and "All for Nothing" were placed in regular rotation on MTV's Real World. In just two short months, Teen Hearts had gained the interest of the Japanese label, Fried Rice Records/In 'n Out Records.

The band was asked to play during Bamboozle 2009, sharing the stage with All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Metro Station, Forever The Sickest Kids, Never Shout Never and more. They've toured with Jeffree Star, Brokencyde, Artist Vs Poet, Kill Paradise and Ultra Violet Sound.

At the end of the tour, the band returned to the studio to record their first full-length album, "Best Kept Secrets." Lead singer, Kelly Orr, made a decision to pursue a more mature sound for the album while maintaining the group's catchy, fun sound that shot them to success.

The inclusion of Teen Heart's new song, "Maybe Someday," on the myRMX application allows loyal fans worldwide to create their own remix versions of the group's song. With myRMX, iPhone, iPod Touch and Nokia users have fun using innovative technology that can be shared band to fan, fan to fan, and fan to band for a complete interactive experience.
