Remington College-Dallas Campus Names Jeff Johnston New Pastry Arts Department Chair
Jeff Johnston is named the New Pastry Arts Department Chair.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) May 17, 2013 - Remington College-Dallas Campus has named Jeff Johnston as its new Pastry Arts Department Chair.
In his new position, Mr. Johnston will help direct curriculum, recruit and train faculty and supervise staff and students in the campus Pastry Arts Department.
The Remington College Pastry Arts Diploma Program teaches students the skills they need to create breads, cakes, pastries and desserts in a hands-on, fully operational bakeshop setting.
Mr. Johnston has been with Remington College-Dallas Campus since 2011. Most recently, he served as a Pastry Instructor, teaching courses in baking methodology, artisan breads and rolls, confectionary art and desserts.
Prior to his tenure at Remington College-Dallas Campus, Mr. Johnston was a Bakery Team Leader with Whole Foods Market in Plano, Texas. He also spent several years as Bakery Production Manager with Central Market, as well as other high volume bakeries in the Metroplex.
Mr. Johnston has an Associate's Degree in Bakery/Pastry from the Food and Hospitality Institute at El Centro College in Dallas.
Remington College-Dallas Campus is located at 1800 Eastgate Drive in Garland.
