As the Oaxaca International Independent Film and Video Festival draws near the festival begins it's search for talented volunteers. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) September 12, 2011 - The Second Edition of the OAXACA INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT FILM AND VIDEO FESTIVAL is looking for VOLUNTEERS that are interested in participating in this year events (November 12th to 19th 2011).

The Oaxaca FilmFest offers our volunteers a unique program:

1. INTENSIVE FILM FESTIVAL SKILL CERTIFICATION TRIANING PROGRAM : An obligatory and exclusive program for volunteers to be completed before the festival, featuring 6 workshops that include: Cinema appreciation / Introduction to Cinema Critic / Organization of Events related to Cinema / Logistics and Management of foreigner guests ( We provide necessary material and Certificate of Assistance to the Workshops).

2. PROJECTION of selected movies prior to the FESTIVAL (strictly confidential and exclusive for volunteers).

3. Two Festival T-SHIRTS.

4. Work Recommendation Letter (according to the position held) / Certificate of participation in the FESTIVAL and completion of training course.

5. A Copy of the Official CATALOG.

6. The chance for a Trip to Puerto Escondido for 4 days with the Festival.

IMPORTANT: The selected VOLUNTEERS must have full or part-time availability not only for the week of the festival ( which includes the time of projections and other Events with Directors- Producers - After Party's etc.) but also they need to attend the workshops that are part of the Training Program during the month of October (There will be different time and days available).
