Health Market Science Enhances its Prescriber MasterFile with State Medicaid Exclusions
The Company is working with all eighteen states that currently publish Medicaid exclusion data to support pharmacy and PBM compliance efforts.

HMS is working closely with State Medicaid Agencies to ensure that each agency understands the implications of federal healthcare reform and the resulting regulations impacting federally funded programs and the providers that support these programs. According to the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), bases for exclusion include convictions for program-related fraud and patient abuse, licensing board actions, and default on Health Education Assistance Loans.
