Komen and the Denver Broncos, today announced "The Best Defense Against Breast Cancer." This free community educational event will discuss breast cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment June 29 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High from 9 a.m. to Noon.

    The event offers all attendees exclusive access to the Budweiser Champions Club in Sports Authority Field at Mike High, with educational seminars presented by HealthONE breast cancer physicians, breast cancer survivors and their partners.

    "Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer for women and is the leading cause of cancer death among Colorado women," said Michele Ostrander, Komen Denver Executive Director. "We feel that being educated about your risk, your family history, and knowing when and how often to get screened is every women's best defense against breast cancer. This is an important cause, and an important event for everyone in the Denver community."
