  • Formed in January 2004, Future Facilities is a privately owned company dedicated to delivering Design and Operational solutions to address the emerging environmental problems facing the owners and operators of modern Mission Critical Facilities. The company’s founders are acknowledged experts in the design and application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software for the data center industry.

In June 2006 the company announced its 6SigmaDC suite of integrated software products, which deliver a powerful toolset to meet the challenges of the design and operation phases of data center lifecycle engineering. Using the software to create a 3-dimensional Virtual Facility©, design assumptions as well as the impact of IT refresh can be accurately modelled and thermal/ environmental risk evaluated. In this way, facilities can be deployed and dynamic environments maintained with full confidence of their operational integrity.
