Early-Bird Savings For NAFA's Fleet Management Seminars End On September 21

  • (1888PressRelease) September 17, 2011 - Fleet professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of fleet management have until September 21 to take advantage of special pricing for NAFA's Fleet Management Seminar (FMS) and Advanced Fleet Management Seminar (AFMS). Recognized as the leading educational seminars in the fleet management industry, these two seminars will be presented at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in October. Registrants can save nearly $100 by registering before the early-bird deadline.

    NAFA's FMS will take place October 12-13. Designed for fleet managers with five or less years of experience, the seminar provides an opportunity to learn the fundamental principles and practices of successful fleet management. Taught by key subject matter experts in the fleet management sector, the program includes such topics as Business Management, Professional Development, Asset Management, Financial Management, Fleet Information Management, Risk Management, Vehicle Fuel Management, and Maintenance Management.

    The cost for NAFA's FMS is $695 for NAFA Members (or $770 after September 21) and $795 for non-members ($870 after September 21).

    NAFA's AFMS will take place October 14-16. Designed for fleet professionals with more than five years of experience, the AFMS is an intense, upper-level course that addresses all of the major disciplines of fleet management for both the public service and commercial sector. The seminar is ideal for CAFM/CAFS participants and others looking for advanced fleet education.

    The cost for NAFA's AFMS is $995 for NAFA Members (or $1,070 after September 21) and $1,495 for non-members ($1,570 after September 21).

    These seminars are only held three times per year. This is the last time they will be presented until February 2012. For the fleet professional looking to maximize their educational value, NAFA also offers a package deal which includes registration to both the FMS and the AFMS. For NAFA Members, the cost is $1,545 or $2,145 after September 21. For non-members, the cost is $1,629 or $2,220 after September 21.

    If the registrant is currently enrolled in either the CAFM or CAFS program they will be able to test upon the conclusion of the seminar on Saturday, September 24. A separate registration for the exams is required to gain access to the testing area.
