"We just got a little fed up with trying to find a good quality, great fitting, and well priced white shirt, so we decided to create an online store that was very functional and focus on white shirts for women. However the more we met with designers the more we realized that to limit ourselves to white shirts would be an injustice to all the great designers out there trying to showcase their product, so we expanded the line," Wheeler said.
Wheeler said that buying from independent labels allows Wheeler and her business partner Lisa de la Sol a much larger spectrum of clothes and accessories to choose from. Many are locally made and in turn help support local communities, and most use sustainable or reusable materials that start with indie lines and then trickle down to the big box labels.
"So by supporting them we accelerate the innovation by enlarging their customer base, which in turn allows more dollars to be put into research and development," Wheeler said.
Even though BobbePin provides the highest quality products, they believe quality fashion doesn't have to come with a high price tag. BobbePin provides a shopping experience that results in fashion that is of the utmost quality in a price range that makes the pieces accessible for a wide range of consumers.
