  • Jersey City, NJ (1888PressRelease) August 03, 2012 - Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center, all members of Meridian Health, are included in the 2012-2013 Best Hospitals metro area rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.

    Meridian Health hospitals are recognized as high performers in gastroenterology, geriatrics, neurology and neurosurgery, cancer, cardiology and heart surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, gynecology, nephrology, pulmonology, and urology in the U.S. Best Hospital rankings for the New York metropolitan area.

    This year's Best Hospitals, showcase more than 720 of the nation's roughly 5,000 hospitals. Fewer than 150 are nationally ranked in at least one of 16 medical specialties.
