  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) September 10, 2013 - As they say, juxtaposition is everything - and that's certainly the case in "Uncertain," a new faculty/student exhibit at the Woodbury University School of Architecture's WUHO Gallery in Hollywood, continuing through September 22.

Featuring the work of Woodbury faculty Berenika Boberska, Mark Ericson, Heather Peterson and Maxi Spina - and a talented group of graduate students "Uncertain" examines the relationship between faculty research and the work of students within the Graduate Visualization curriculum at Woodbury University School of Architecture.

Work from the faculty is exhibited in parallel with student work to engender questions on the relationship between research and pedagogy. The show seeks to measure not only the effect of faculty research on student work, but also the impact of student work on the research itself, foregrounding the productive slippages and unintended consequences inherent in the pedagogical framework.

The gallery, located at 6158 Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles, is open on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Fridays through Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Woodbury University School of Architecture is a network of hubs strategically sited within the Southern California megalopolis: Los Angeles, Burbank, Hollywood, and San Diego.
