  • Abilene, TX (1888PressRelease) June 23, 2011 - HMH - Hospitality Management Holdings held its first regional conference in Qatar at the newly opened Coral Hotel - Doha. Over a fifty senior delegates from the group flew in from across the Middle East and Africa to attend the meeting organized to outline the business and marketing strategy of the company in the wake of highly challenging economic and political scenario.

Michel Noblet, President & CEO, HMH, said, "Clearly the global economy is still in the grip of recession. Compounding the problem is the political unrest in the Middle East and Africa, earthquake and nuclear disaster in Japan, sustainability issues, worldwide climate change and its disastrous impact on environment. Navigating our organization through these complex and tumultuous times is an enormous challenge. However, we can turn the tide in our favour by exploiting what we know and focusing on basics. It is important to prioritize our activities more effectively. Finding the perfect solution demands hard work and thoughtful analysis and there are no easy short-cuts."

Core to the HMH success has been a collaborative approach to business as well as the development of an integrated marketing strategy that encompasses all group activities. "Co-operation not conflict trumps competition. Change is upon us. We have unique and powerful brands. Looking ahead, we need to capitalize on the opportunities available while consolidating our business. Strong marketing initiatives, highly advanced central reservation system, strategic brand affiliations and launch of innovative loyalty programs are all geared to maximize revenue and profitability for our owners and associates while delivering the best value to our customers and widening our brand appeal."

With a portfolio of 50 hotels, HMH is one of the fastest growing, fully-integrated hotel management and development companies in the region. The group debuted in Doha with two exceptional properties earlier this year namely Coral Hotel Doha and Corp Executive Hotel - Doha Suites.

Michel said, "Given Qatar's growing stature and accelerating demand for infrastructure, our opportunity here is vast. The country offers a stable and secure environment for both developers and visitors. Coral Hotel Doha is surely one of the most stunning properties in our portfolio and we are extremely grateful to Mr Abdul Aziz Al Emadi for having given us the opportunity to manage it." The hotel offers 227 richly appointed deluxe rooms and suites each equipped with premier amenities and the latest technology.

Qatar is the world's top exporter of liquefied natural gas and is recording gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 16% to 19% at the moment. Industry experts say the country will continue to see growth in double digits in 2012.
