    Originally from England, Ward has been a guitar player since he was 12 years old when his grandfather loaned him an old acoustic guitar. An avid performer and prolific songwriter, he is a member of the Blue Island Beer Club acoustic duo, the Trop Rock Junkies tropical band and has even opened for the legendary Jimmy Buffett at the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa. Ward has wanted to record a solo album for the past few years, especially after appearing on other bands' albums. "I wanted to showcase a variety of songs from different genres and time periods and I think Cigarettes 'N Gasoline does that." Ward said. "So, don't be surprised if you'll be singing along after one or two listens."

    In addition to his work with other Saint Petersburg area bands, Ward's song Wish I'd Never was used as background music for the FOX show, The Good Guys. He also had songs featured in independent films and radio advertisements.
