Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP)is dedicated to finding good, permanent homes for stray, abandoned, injured and abused cats and dog from our local shelters. AFRP relies on support from the community to rescue and adopt out over 1,500 homeless cats and dogs each year. Since 1998, they have placed over 16,000 cats and dogs into loving new homes. AFRP also operates the Life link Transport program which has transported over5,500 dogs to safety with other rescues throughout California since 2007. AFRP is the safety net for the animals most at risk in our local shelters.

The Foundation for the Performing Arts Board members strive to provide the unusual and exciting entertainment for our community that many may never have the opportunity to see. The Foundation for Performing Arts Center is in its eighth year with popularity that continues to grow and expand. Our mission is to enhance and maintain the Performing Art Center, while providing arts to the community and support the art programs in our schools.

Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula is guided by the belief that a person's health reflects the nurturing of the whole person-body, mind and spirit. Their programs are dedicated to promoting the physical, social, and personal well-being and independence of seniors, homebound frail elderly and disabled adults on the Monterey Peninsula. Programs and services enable people to enjoy good health and the highest quality of living as long as possible. The organization serves frail, elderly and disabled adults, seniors and their guests through three core programs - Home Delivered Meals, Group Dining and Sally Griffin Active Living Center's health, wellness, exercise and enrichment classes and activities. Approximately 1000 clients, 615members and 5000 visitors are served each year by Meals on Wheels' programs.

The mission of MY Museum is to provide an environment where curiosity and creativity flourish, while both children and adults learn together through experience.
