Matthew P. Rupert, M.D., Joins Ascendant Neuro Nashville

Dr. Rupert has extensive experience in both medicine and engineering-making him ideally suited to help advance Ascendant's mission to discover and provide innovative treatments to help patients living with chronic and debilitating pain.

Rupert joins Ascendant following tenures with Vanderbilt University's pain management program and Total Pain Care Mississippi. Rupert began his surgical residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati and completed his training in anesthesia at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Rupert also completed a fellowship in international pain management under esteemed physician Gabor B. Racz at Texas Tech University, and obtained the prestigious Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice at the World Institute of Pain.
