Loginno Launches World's First Affordable Solution Offering Total Protection for Shipping Containers
The Israeli start up Loginno Logistic Innovation Ltd. officially unveiled its patent pending solution of affordable total protection for shipping containers and air shipments.
- (1888PressRelease) July 27, 2012 - The container shipping industry has been searching for a fool proof container security system to match the demands of high value cargo shippers and national security agencies without finding the complete solution.
Ben Hackett, a global container shipping expert and VP Business Development at Loginno notes that "the industry has continuously searched for an optimal solution without success, but has always been held back by the cost and technical issues.". "Existing technology is not all-encompassing and one cannot expect thieves to be highly discouraged to steal cargo." says David Noy, Loginno's VP Operations.
As the need and the technology exist for years now, efforts to reach a working affordable solution were unsuccessful in some cases, and cut short in most. Says
Amit Aflalo, Loginno's co-founder and CTO: "Companies have been focused on creating GPS devices which sit on the container's door. They are very visible and ineffective as anyone can (and some do) cut a hole in the thin side of the container without opening the door, undetected by the device.".
Loginno's solution was developed by Loginet Systems, a creative Israeli Military Systems developer, who had the experience and technological background to deal with the seemingly impossible constraints dictated by Loginno. "They wanted a small and portable device, they wanted it to be very rugged and reliable but cheap, to protect all 6 sides of the container, to be completely invisible and undetected, and on top of all it had to be intelligent enough to accurately detect difficult environmental variables.". An almost impossible task but with a little Israeli creativity, and a lot of joint experience of the developers, a patent-worthy solution was found.
Loginno has been conducting trials over the past year with major multi-billion global logistics players. Successfully tested, Loginno's unique and innovative solution has been launched into full production and the company is prepared for major orders and strategic alliances to be formed in the following months, regarding solutions for air and sea shipping.
