  • Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) July 25, 2012 - With the upcoming local elections approaching, the Latin Builders Association® has interviewed multiple candidates for various positions for the local, county, and state level. After careful consideration, the LBA has selected the following candidates:

    For the Miami Dade County Commission, the LBA has endorsed Barbara Jordan for District 1 and Audrey Edmonson for District 3. In other districts, the LBA has chosen Bruno Barreiro for District 5, and Juan C. Zapata for District 11.

    The LBA has also chosen other candidates for the upcoming elections: for Florida State Representative, the endorsement has gone to Paul Crespo for District 105. Frank Bolaños has been endorsed for Doral City Mayor, while Susie Castillo has been chosen for School Board District 5.

    "We feel these candidates best represented the values shared by the LBA," said President Bernie Navarro. "We consider these candidates to be leaders in the community, and we believe they are the key to moving the community forward."

    The LBA will also be releasing the official Judicial Candidate endorsements for Miami‐Dade.
