The site is an original concept where aspiring male and female models can submit their photos each month according to their age range to participate in themed contests such as T shirt and Shorts, Little black dress, swimsuit & more. Once submissions are received, the submission process is closed after 21 days and public voting officially begins. The public is then allowed to vote photos up or down in order to participate in the selection of each categories winner.

Winning ModelLauncher.com models will win an all expense paid trip to Miami, A stay at the W hotel, and a Professional photo shoot with photographer John Fisher, and publicity support by the Model Launchers PR firm in order to assist them in directly kicking off their careers. Models must be at the amateur level in order to participate and submission photos must follow themed guidelines in their entirety. Photos should not be professional for submission, but instead can easily be snapped via cell phone or standard cameras. Chances to win each contest will never be more than 1-999 as each contest immediately closes as soon as 999 entries have been received to truly provide models a chance to be seen and compete fairly.
