Palmer, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois, began pursuing a career in her field with an internship during the summer of her sophomore and junior year in college with NASA in the LARRS summer research program in Hampton, Virginia. After graduating college, she got her first job as a design engineer, and with every position since, has aspired to continue doing good work.
