    About the Speaker
    Michael Juran is the CEO of Altia, a user interface software company founded in 1991 and headquartered in Colorado Springs, with offices in Detroit, Boston, Tokyo and Germany.

    Prior to founding Altia, Mr. Juran was a software engineer and user interface design expert at Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Juran also worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories and AT&T Microelectronics Europe as a microprocessor hardware design engineer and product marketing manager.

    Mr. Juran earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Association for Computing Machinery. Mike has been awarded three U.S. patents related to graphics, user interface design and electronic design automation tool architecture.

    As CEO, Mr. Juran sets strategic direction and is involved in all key decisions for the company's growth and development. Much of his time is spent travelling the world to meet with key leaders in the Automotive, Medical and Consumer Electronics industries.
