  • Spokane, WA (1888PressRelease) September 15, 2011 - (www.slowfadethemovie.com) When faced with the tough issues that teens are going through these days, many try to fix the symptoms. Slow Fade, the first feature film from young director, Ryan Anstett, takes a different approach. Going straight to the heart of the problem, Slow Fade addresses the choices rather than the effects of those choices.

Synopsis: Every choice we make defines who we are and who we will become. Thomas, influenced by the media and the friends he surrounds himself with, is being defined by his choices. He falls into a slow fade, until he finds a mentor in an unlikely situation.

The dramatic story of Slow Fade is fitting for todays generation. So often young people make choices without considering the impact of those choices. Much like the character, Thomas, those choices lead them to hard times and strains their relationships with others. It is critical to reverse this way of thinking, looking at the results of the choices and choosing the right thing rather than the easy or convenient thing.

Slow Fade will be premiering later this summer in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The producers also have plans for a limited theatrical release on the West Coast, followed by church showings across the entire United States. Following its theatrical release, Slow Fade will be available in DVD format in most stores. The theatrical trailer was recently made available online, beginning the marketing phase for the feature length movie. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9RaUnKRkOE)
"Every choice has a huge impact on our lives which is often overlooked. We need to look beyond the next moment to see the future consequences of our choices and decide based on what is right, not what is just convenient at the time." Ryan Anstett, Writer/Director.
