It will be the first digital media hub for the prolific holiday high school basketball tournament.

    The goal according to Working Web Solutions is to increase Les Schwab Invitational interaction with fans across several popular social media platforms.

Fans from San Jose, Philadelphia and Washington, DC will be able to monitor and enjoy their team's success in the tournament online.

    Using iPads and smart phones, select high school student volunteers will man the social media command center with Working Web Solutions staff during the tournament and connect with LSI fans on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

    Portland's own J.Mack of the U-Krew will headline the halftime show during the semi-finals and Express Employment Professionals Slam Dunk Contest. Fans who "like" the Les Schwab Invitational Facebook page will be able to download The Hometown Heroes featuring J.Mack & Big Dub's new single "Fly Boy," the official song of the Les Schwab Invitational 2012. Recently inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, U-Krew's J.Mack said "we're proud to be a part of such a great Portland event and hope to energize the players and fans."

    The Les Schwab Invitational presented by Express Employment Professionals has helped generate over $1.4 million for participating schools.
