Deliverables will include brand attributes (the basis for establishing the new identity for Wake Tech), key messaging points, a positioning statement (an internal document telling college leaders where the institution stands in comparison to its competition), a possible change to its current tagline of "College for the Real World," visual marks (including a main overall logo and treatments for individual entities) and a style guide with tips and instructions on how to apply the branding properly and effectively. VisionPoint is scheduled to complete its rebranding work in August with a presentation of a transition plan to assist Wake Tech in unveiling the new brand to the public, which the college will be in charge of implementing.

    One of the visual marks to be created by VisionPoint will be a logo celebrating the upcoming 50th anniversary of the establishment of Wake Tech. The school first opened its doors on October 7, 1963.
