  • Warren-Farmington Hills-Troy, MI (1888PressRelease) May 19, 2012 - Michael J. Terenzi, President of Menumatic Systems and Consulting, Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Michael J. Terenzi's commitment to excellence in Information Technology and Consulting.

Terenzi, who holds an AS in Business Administration from Macomb County Community College, began working as a technical writer in 1982 for a firm in Southfield, Michigan writing do-it-yourself manuals for Ford Motor Company and technical testing programs for Cadillac Service Technicians. Having worked with a programmer that developed an online reporting program for the testing program, he quickly became interested in computers.

Years later in 1992, Terenzi decided to establish his own consulting company. While continuing to work as an employee for other companies, he continued to try and grow his consulting business. But it wasn't until 2008, after learning of the instability of working for someone else, that he went full-time with his own consulting company. His customer base includes MSC Industrial Supply Direct (a $4 billion organization), the 38th District Court, Fugolo Attorney at Law, CLM Family Dentistry, Huff's Remodeling, Scott Mechanical, Jamestown Construction, among multiple home office/home users.

As the sole employee of his organization, Terenzi wears many hats, overseeing the financial aspect of the business, marketing, technical, sales, customer support and satisfaction, as well as infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance. His consulting work includes areas of information technology, telecommunications, and solving technical issues.

Terenzi's interest in technology has earned him a great thirst for knowledge and desire to share his expertise with others, saying, "I'd like to expand my customer base to allow me to add employees and move into more of a management/technical consultant role, while still performing sales and finance."

In addition to being a customer advocate speaker for Siemens Enterprise Communications at numerous technical events such as Voice Con and JUST-US, Terenzi has also been interviewed for his opinions on various topics in eWeek, VOIP, and Computer World Magazine articles. His is also the recipient of a 2006 Computer World Honors Program Laureate Award in Manufacturing for Security on behalf of Stahls', Inc.
