  • (1888PressRelease) July 19, 2011 - No longer designed as a single component, the wireless Revolabs FLX has redefined the traditional conference phone design and instead, is comprised of several components giving unmatched freedom with respect to placement and accessibility of the speaker, microphones and dial pad. The Revolabs FLX also replaces the need for both an audio conference phone and video conferencing microphone on the meeting room table, since the wireless microhones and speaker are also supplied with a wireless telephone dialler. Bluetooth capability extends it's flexibility to those in the meeting room needing to connect a mobile phone to the system's wireless loudspeaker.

David Shimell, Managing Director of VideoCentric said, "We are very happy to be the first in the UK to be supplying and supporting the Revolabs FLX. It is well known that VideoCentric have some of the most stringent testing procedures for new products entering the market, and so far the product exceeds our expectations in specification, features and its ability to form part of a full unified communications solution."

Mr Shimell added, "It comprises the features of whole series of products from other leading manufacturers into one single system, plus its microphones are wireless, it integrates bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones and is compatible with all the major brands of video conferencing systems."

VideoCentric are now taking bookings for demonstrations of the FLX with all the leading High Definition video conferencing systems from Polycom, Cisco, Lifesize and RADVISION, and with iPhone and Android Smartphone apps, in their unique interoperability suite at the VideoCentric Headquarters, Wokingham, Berkshire. Pricing is available now and VideoCentric will begin shipping the Revolabs FLX POTS version in August 2011, and the FLX VOIP version later in the year.
