(1888PressRelease) February 11, 2014 - The Vena® Sil 630 is the most flexible hose within its product range. The stainless steel wire reinforcement embedded in the hose wall allows a very tight bending radius.

Due to its characteristics, the Vena® Sil 630 has been especially designed for conveying liquid and semi-liquid products in the food, cosmetic, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

This hose has a temperature resistance that range from -60ºC to 180ºC. It may reach up to 200 ºC for short periods of time and has an excellent resistance to thermal aging.

The product can be sterilized with either hot air at 250ºC or steam at 135ºC and it is suitable to be cleaned with caustic soda and diluted nitric acid. The hose is odourless, tasteless and completely non-toxic.

Venair®'s new Vena® Sil 630 is manufactured in accordance to the FDA, USP Class VI and BfR standards and complies with the EU directive 2002/95/ECC in respect of the restriction of use of hazardous substances (RoHS).

This hose can be equipped with 316L stainless steel end fittings with roughness values of 0.8µm (up to 0.5µm upon request).
