  • Albuquerque, NM (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2018 - Jay Bavisi, President of the EC-Council Group, will deliver the keynote address at the HackIstanbul 2018 Capture the Flag contest taking place on September 22, 2018 at Turkey’s first aerospace and technology festival, Teknofest Istanbul. Bavisi will be presenting his keynote on ‘Challenges in Gamification and Hands-on Exams for Cybersecurity Practitioners.’ This event will welcome thousands of hackers from over 132 countries, who will demonstrate their skills in advanced real-life cyber-attack scenarios.

    The 4-day festival will begin on Sept. 20 at the Istanbul Grand Airport and will also include air shows, aviation demonstrations, technology competitions in twelve different categories, seminars on cutting-edge technology, and an international entrepreneurship summit among with other activities.

    Only the top 10 teams from the CTF contest will challenge The Anti-Drone Air Defence System developed and produced by Aselsan, with the winner walking away 15,000 USD, to be awarded by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
