  • (1888PressRelease) January 03, 2011 - Waiting for the official announcement on the second edition of Miss Progress International, the Organisation of the world competition dedicated to Cultural Integration, Environment, Health and Human Rights gives the world a real collection of author's portraits.
The cover of the 2011 calendar presented by the Associazione Culturale In Progress is for the winner of the contest, the Tanzanian Julieth Lugembe, and was shooted by Antonio Zanata, author of the twelve shots that have accompanied us during 2010.

The co-authors were Sergio Malfatti, Giuseppe Rossetti, Luciano Miano and Vincenzo Dell'Atti, which gave their interpretation of "the faces of Miss Progress", immortalizing the Ambassadors of Progress protagonists of the first edition of the event wich, as known, was held last September in Puglia.

"Once we decided on the final layout - says Giusy Nobile, president of the association that organizes the event - it was really difficult to decide which of the more than seven thousands shots had to describe the emotions experienced by competitors and ourselves.".

The end result is a splendid gallery of portraits chosen by the photographers themselves between smiles, poses, expressions and "stolen moments". Twelve images that embody the essence of the event: different cultures, ideas and traditions, but one common goal: making the world a better place to live.

Giuseppe Borrillo, director of the competition, adds an important detail: "We have deliberately shown only Sundays as holidays rarely coincide at the various latitudes from which our beautiful protagonists."

The goal of giving women a different role, highlighting their social commitment, has thus been reached and we should enjoy the new year just begun waiting for the dates of Miss Progress 2011.
