  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 14, 2010 - With a few days until the launch of the world famous Bullrun 2010 Rally starting from New York City and heading west to Las Vegas, Nevada, teen actor and comedian Drake Kemper has been selected to participate in this invitation-only race. Kemper, 19, is the youngest participant along with his team driver, Harrison Webster Allen, 19, a musician currently on tour with his band, " He Is We." Kemper co-stars in a "Victorious" episode and webisode, and has also co-starred on Eastwick, Three Rivers, Entourage, iCarly, Flash Forward, and has two upcoming feature films, "Beautiful Boy" and "A Fighting Chance."

Bullrun kicks off with a launch party right in the centre of Manhattan, New York on July 9, followed the next morning with a secret start line location in the heart of New York. The rally will finish seven days later with a finale party in Las Vegas followed by the awards ceremony.

An experienced driver, Kemper races at Willow Springs International Raceway in California and will be on the road rally driving his Porsche Boxster Spec racecar. While Kemper's racecar is affordable and has to maintain certain stock characteristics, he will be competing against exotic, high-end luxury automobiles. With only 12 days notification to the start of the race and Bullrun paying for his entry fee of $15,000, Kemper purchased a transmission, exhaust, brakes, tires, a CB Radio (to talk to other cars), a police scanner, a radar detector, walkie talkies, video cameras for filming outside the car (front and rear), and a video camera for filming the inside of the car. Sponsored by Bullrun, Philly's Best- Burbank, Speed Gallery, Dirty Devil Customs, and www.Drakekemper.com, Kemper will bring his laptop along with his Internet card and broadcast live to his Twitter followers and fans.

While excited to drive 3,000 miles with other racers driving Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and other luxury cars, Kemper is looking forward to "stopping at racetracks, seeing this beautiful country, and having fun." Kemper's desire to race also stems from a cause close to his heart.

"I am going to use this opportunity to bring awareness for Children's Cancer Research Fund in Los Angeles and race in the memory of many family friends whom have lost their life to cancer," said Kemper. "If I can use my acting to benefit anyone challenged with cancer, then I know that I am living a life with a purpose. Making a difference to these kids and their families is very important to me."

With the opportunity to participate in Bullrun 2010 Rally, Kemper now has decided to take Children's Cancer Research Fund charity across the nation by putting it on the side of his car and driving across the country in the highest profile road rally in the world. For several years now, Kemper has been the master of ceremonies of Children's Cancer Research Fund's Kids 4 Kids 5K Walk/Run in Los Angeles and participated in the All Star Team involved in raising awareness of childhood cancer. Though only a teenager, Kemper has already lost four friends to cancer, all under the age of 20.

As the youngest teen celebrity participant in the Bullrun, Kemper wants to promote awareness of childhood cancer and "to show young people everywhere that you can have fun and make a difference."

Kemper will get a chance to do just that. As with every year, the 2010 rally drivers will be the stars of the original Bullrun television show "Cops, Cars and Superstars." The show will be in its 7th season and now airs in 96 countries around the world.
