TECHNOLOGY CONSERVATION GROUP, INC. has received a Business Diversification Award from the Governor of the State of Florida.

TCG received the award in the Green-to-Gold category, for best exemplifying "green" leadership as it pertains to the state's goal to become a leader in the emerging "green" technology field. TCG's Florida location processes more than 6 million tons of recyclable material each year into raw material feedstock for industrial manufacturing around the world. This, in turn, reduces greenhouse gas emissions by requiring significantly less energy to manufacture products from recyclables than virgin ore and by avoiding landfilling.
