  • (1888PressRelease) July 27, 2012 - Releasing their debut single through DIY imprint 'Realm Productions' exemplifies the working ethos of Swindon 5-piece Talk In Code.   Since forming just over a year ago, the band have set to work furiously writing, recording and crafting a powerhouse live show.  The results have prompted a host of collaboration offers from the likes of superstar DJ Armin Van Buuren to production/writing duo Ben Robbins and Steve Balsamo (Dean Street Studios, Soho).

Talk In Code have also supported a host of stars including 'Rams Pocket Radio, Fiery Furnaces, Wybyrds, Delays, The Quireboys and Transfer' and have been played on over 60 radio stations.  With enthusiastic reception of their latest run of live shows, positive reviews of their material and numerous radio plays including BBC Introducing, the buzz surrounding the single and the band is growing every day.

Guided by their founding principal to combine the high energy euphoria and creative production of dance music with the anthemic sing-along choruses of indie rock, they have created an exciting new 'Stadium Ready' sound for the UK unsigned scene. Pulsating synths and shimmering guitar underpin driving bass and pounding beats, creating powerful soundscapes over which the trademark vocals of frontman Chris Stevens soar.

"With the overproduced cleanliness of a whole host of American indie-rock bands with dance tendencies, Talk In Code lie between the admittedly wide range between the dance-floor influenced metal/trance hybrids, and the scream-core of Attack Attack!,Asking Alexandria et al; as well as the pop-ish indie realms dominated by names likeThe Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie." Alt Sounds

"the ultimate intelligent dance rock number, groove laden, infectious and sounding like the perfect encore to a packed stadium show." - Green Man Music

"The melodies boast anthemic, charismatic attitude underpinned by fizzy, solid rhythms to stunning effect." Swindon Advertiser

"They have a bright, positive sound that shows light and shade with tonnes of atmosphere!" Swindon Music
