  • (1888PressRelease) November 22, 2016 - SureFlap Ltd. loves working with animal welfare charities, and this October it chose Wood Green animal shelters to donate their hair-raising Halloween funds to.

£130 was raised in total by the small business, which regularly goes out of its way to get staff involved with fun fund-raising activities throughout the year. The staff held a fancy-dress competition, with costumes ranging from cowboys to corpse-brides. A bake sale was also held, with prizes going to the best Halloween-inspired treats.

The total amount raised should, hopefully, make a real difference to the animals being looked at by the hard-working staff at Wood Green. It could either help keep 43 animals safe and warm this month, or pay for 26 heat pads and blankets for puppies and kittens, or provide special diets for 16 animals that have been underfed or neglected.

SureFlap products enhance pet care and promote responsible pet ownership, so choosing to work with and promote animal welfare charities in the local community is very important to the company ethos.

SureFlap is a pet lifestyle specialist with a simple mission - to develop smart pet products that improve the way we care for our pets. The company started with a microchip-operated cat-flap that uses the cat's existing microchip as a personalised door key, preventing other animals from entering. Through continuous innovation, the company extended its range of pet products to include dog doors, pet feeders, sealed bowls and accessories. The company sells direct, through pet stores and veterinary practices. SureFlap's success is attributed to its customer support, and to it developing great products that address real pet owners' problems.
