Vinod Gupta has such a famous and familiar name that he brought with him former President of United States, Bill Clinton on a visit to Rampur Maniharan.
Vinod Gupta who has obtained his educational qualification from Gochar Krishi Inter College, his father Girilal Gupta had a clinic in the village. After obtaining an Engineering Degree from IIT Kharagpur, he went to the US 53 years ago. He established his own business there, working alongside in a private company.
In the year 1999, to improve the educational status of Rampur Maniharan village, he established Ramrati Gupta Women Polytechnic on Delhi National Highway founded to aid in enhancing educational status of rural girl students. Along with this he established many educational Institutions such as Bill Clinton School and Hillary Clinton Nursing School in Rampur Maniharan.
