    About Shareholder Value Advisors Inc.

Shareholder Value Advisors (SVA) is a consulting firm that helps companies increase shareholder value through better performance measurement, incentive plan design and valuation analysis. In incentive plan design, SVA helps companies achieve the three basic objectives of executive pay – providing strong incentives to increase shareholder value, retaining key talent and limiting shareholder cost – through plans that make incentive pay equal to market pay plus a fixed and symmetric share of an excess return measure. For more than 20 years, SVA’s published research has shown companies how to measure market pay, excess return and incentive strength and how to use better measurement to develop better incentive plans.

    Event Summary

The SEC’s Pay vs. Performance (PvP) rule marks a significant development in executive compensation disclosure, requiring public companies to clearly outline the link between compensation paid to executives and the financial performance of the company. This rule presents both technical challenges and strategic opportunities for companies aiming to align pay practices with shareholder expectations.
