Stellar Award Nominated, Children's Gospel Singing Group is Looking Online for Supporters who want to Help them Finish their 3rd CD
Los Angeles, CA based children's gospel singing group, Gospo & The Gospel Kids! is asking their fans and friends to help Kickstart their 3rd CD! With just 30 days to fund, the process is testing the group's faith.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2012 - Gospo & The Gospel Kids (GGK) are a group of regular, inner-city neighborhood kids (ages 6-12) from Los Angeles, CA that come from all kinds of tough family situations. Their very first CD, "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song…Volume 1" was nominated for a 2006 Stellar Gospel Music Award for "Children's Performance of the Year".
The working title of GGK's 3rd CD is "Father God, You're The Best Dad" because so many children (and adults) all over the country and the world are growing up without a father and/or father-figure. God wants to let everyone know that HE is the best Dad that anyone can ever have because His love is so great for all of us...and He will never leave us. Children today are dealing with a lot of serious, life-threatening issues. They need to listen to the anointed, uplifting gospel music that God has created for them...for their issues...to help them win and live victorious lives through Jesus Christ.
GGK has decided to run a Kickstarter.com campaign to try and raise the $4,900 they need to finish their 3rd CD. The money that's raised will go into the album to cover recording studio time, mixing, mastering, graphic design, CD duplication, digital distribution, transportation, and meals for the kids during recording sessions.
With Kickstarter, IT'S ALL OR NOTHING This means if we reach (or go beyond) our goal within 30 days, GGK will receive all the funds and we can finish the album. If we don't meet the goal in 30 days, your credit cards will NOT be charged, but "Gospo & The Gospel Kids" won't get a penny from this Kickstarter campaign to finish the CD.
This is so much more than a CD...its a God-Movement that is designed to strengthen and help kids all over the world to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ! Gospo & The Gospel Kids! are trailblazers who are determined to make people see that their children can be highly used of God at a young age and that they need to be taken seriously in the gospel music and media industry. In gospel music today, there aren't many CD's that are focused on children and their issues. Many projects are made for adults and teens...and the little children are being left out. Gospo & The Gospel Kids is the voice of this young generation!
