  • (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2012 - Simply Electricals is continually at the forefront of technological new releases and this year is no exception. Japanese electronics giant Panasonic has a brand new range of HD televisions due to be launched and Bolton based company simply will have them on display and for sale any day now.

Sales and marketing manager Michael Gilmore is looking forward to testing these new televisions out and knows all about what can be expected from them.

"The X50 series are the base level plasma TVs with 42 inch and 50 inch models available. They don't support 3D and aren't Full HD but are HD Ready. Also, they don't use Panasonic's new neoPlasma panel designs. They do, however, have two HDMIs, a USB port, media player and 600Hz sub-field driving."

It seems the usual case that buyers will get what they pay for and Michael agreed adding, "If you want a better specification and 3D functions then you're going to have to pay more. It's as simple as that. The next series up from the X50 is the XT50 range and although it also doesn't use neoPlasma technology, you get Panasonic's Viera Connect system for smooth online browsing, another USB port, improved contrast ratio and active shutter 3D use."

Simply's managing director Paul Swift was keen to praise Panasonic's UT50 series, namely the TX-P42UT50B with its 2000Hz drive rate and Full HD 3D compatibility but was especially looking forward to seeing the ST50, GT50 and VT50 series of plasma TVs.

Paul explained, "The Panasonic TX-P50ST50B and TX-P50GT50B are very similar, both offering full HD active 3D playback, built in wi-fi and a trio of USB ports. You'll have to spend a bit more for the GT50 range though as they have a 2500Hz sub field drive and a Duel Core Pro4 processor for better picture quality and faster Smart online options.

To conclude Paul added, "But the VT50 series is Panasonic's flagship plasma TV range if you want top specification and more to boot. Take a look at the TX-P65VT50B specification and you'll understand what I mean!"

Speaking from Simply's recently opened branch in Rawtenstall, Ryan Gilmore gave the low down on Panasonic's exciting new selection of LCD and LED televisions.

"The X5 and E5 series are the entry level for the LCD TVs and if you want a cheap 3D LCD set then ET5 series will be appealing, especially with the four pairs of passive glasses included. For those after an active 3D model, then the ET50 series, available in 42 inch and 47 inch sizes with 800Hz systems are a great choice. A step up from these is the DT50 series before reaching Panasonic's flagship WT50 LED series offering unparalleled processing power, mainly due to their dual core processors. The TX-L42WT50B, TX-L47WT50B and TX-L55WT50B models are no doubt going to be some of the most sought after LED TVs of 2012."

2012 is destined to be the best year so far for new HD television releases and Panasonic certainly isn't holding back with its fantastic array of new models soon to hit the stores.
