Simmonds Marshall & Navnit Motors Win Second Leg of TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge '10 - 11
Four teams made their way to the National Final of the TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge.
- (1888PressRelease) January 11, 2011 - Mumbai/Chennai - Winning the Mumbai leg amidst tough competition, four teams made their way to the National Final of the TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge. The Mumbai leg of the annual event concluded on January 9th at the Amby Valley Golf Resort. The next two rounds are at Bangalore and New Delhi before the National Final at Thailand.
It was an exciting two days (January 8-9, 2011) of the tournament where many corporate houses participated like Swiss Re, ICICI Ventures, Barclays Bank and others. After a close game among the teams on day one, the team comprising of Mr Sharad Kachalia and Mr Mayur Kamdar representing Navnit Motors emerged winner and the team comprising Mr Puneet Matta and Mr Nohar Nath representing Credit Suisse emerged runner up. The second day was equally thrilling where team comprising Mr Navroze Marshall and Riaz Batliwala representing Simmonds Marshall emerged winner. The runners up in the second day were Mr Rudratej Singh and Mr Subhash Naidu representing Hindustan Lever.

The other finalists for the National Final at Thailand will emerge from the remaining regional rounds to be held in Bangalore and New Delhi. The finalists from India along with finalists from other countries will then participate in the World Corporate Golf Challenge to be held in Cape Town, South Africa.
