  • Roanoke, VA (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2011 - Luciana and Robert Duvall will host the second installment of the Robert Duvall Lecture Series, "The Making of Legendary American Western Films," on Saturday, October 1, 2011. The event will be held in The Plains, Virginia from 4:30 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Robert Duvall Children's Fund, micro-financing in Latin America, education in India, and the Evans Home for Children in the United States.

    In addition to the lecture given by the Academy Award, Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor, the event will include hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction of unique film memorabilia, a private dinner with Luciana and Robert Duvall, live band entertainment and dancing. Attendees can chose from the following three ticket options:

    • $500 VIP attendees can enjoy a private dinner with Luciana and Robert Duvall,
    lecture, silent auction, heavy hors d'oeuvres, live band entertainment and dancing,
    starting at 4:30 p.m.
    • $300 Attendees can enjoy the lecture, silent auction, heavy hors d'oeuvres, live band
