President Joyce Banda, to keynote GC4W's International Women's Day gala

  • (1888PressRelease) March 20, 2015 - Banda will focus her address on the importance of investing in young girls and women and "Connecting for Women Empowerment," the GC4W theme for this year's red carpet celebration. Former Victoria Secret model and Tech CEO, Amy Hixson, and Arise Entertainment 360 National TV host and National TV Correspondent for Black Enterprise, Shannon LaNier, will host the celebration.

    Also appearing alongside Banda, Hixson, and LaNier will be J. Skyler Fernandes, managing director of Simon Venture Group. Fernandes will join representatives from Intel, to receive GC4W's first ever "Corporate Contribution & Leadership Awards," awarded to two companies who have excelled in their commitment to women empowerment President Joyce Banda.
