Newport Dunes Continues 23-year Tradition with Annual Egg Hunt & Easter Brunch March 26 & 27

  • (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2016 - Hundreds of children, thousands of hidden Easter eggs and 1 celebrity - the Easter Bunny himself - will take center stage as Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina rolls out its annual Easter weekend round-up. Starting on Saturday, March 26 at 9 a.m. with a free Easter Egg hunt open to the community, more than 6,000 eggs will be hidden with a variety of goodies contained inside ranging from candy and toys to cash prizes and a token for a new bicycle. The Easter Bunny, who will be available for family photos at both the egg hunt and Easter Brunch, will lead the festivities and will make an appearance during brunch at the onsite Back Bay Bistro, which was named by Open Table "Top 10 in Southern California and Top 50 in the U.S.," During that time guests can have their photos taken with the giant bunny.

    Starting at 7 a.m. on Easter morning, Pastor Lukei of Mariner's Church will lead a sunrise serve after which the Back Bay Bistro will celebrate the holiday in style from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. with an elaborate brunch and bottomless Champagne and mimosas. Guests will enjoy make-your-own omelet station, pancakes, carving station featuring tenderloin with au jus and horseradish, fresh shrimp cocktail and a chocolate fondue with fresh strawberries, marshmallows and other treats. Cost is $79 for adults (includes bottomless Champagne and mimosas) and $38 for children 12 years and under.
