The film centers on 5 young friends who embark on a necessary journey along the way seeking self fulfillment and adventure while overcoming financial and personal obstacles. One of the highlights of this film is the development of characters from different ethnic backgrounds such as Vietnamese-Chinese, British-Indian, and Filipino. The diversity of the individual's lives brings to light the challenges people face in everyday society overcoming cultural obstacles.

This film is the first installment of a series. Series one centers on an Uncle with debt problems, a loan shark wanting to collect payments, a massage therapist and poker dealer involved in a scam and an illegal poker game at home. The five friends have the misfortune of getting involved and the story unfolds.

Mi Kan Du N E Ting Productions was started by John Samano on February 24, 2011. Mr. Samano, a dedicated actor, began his career in January, 2010 with acting and improvisations classes instructed by Laura Baumann-Suarez as well as commercial workshops taught by Ron Michaelson. Mr. Samano's focus has been creative improvisation. Participation various organizations including the 2010 UCI Screenwriters Festival has been a key focus for Mr. Samano's success.

"We are now seeking a distributor for our completed project. It's a learning process for me and I understand why post production took five months to complete. I learned how to edit the film myself using Avid Studio and created my first trailer on YouTube.
