Mediacraft Associates Announces New Promotion, Appointment

  • (1888PressRelease) January 05, 2012 - Mediacraft Associates, one of Nigeria's top Public Relations firms, has announced the promotion of Mr. Seun Igbalode to the position of Account Director while Miss Chinedu Aforonwa joins the company as Manager, Business Development.

    Igbalode, who joined Mediacraft Associates in 2010 as Head, Media Services, holds a Masters degree in Public Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, both from the University of Lagos. He started his working experience as a reporter with IT & TELECOMS DIGEST, an IT and Telecommunication-focused publication in 2004. He was the Asst. Manager, Editorial Services, of the publication when he left to join Mediacraft Associates.

    A prolific writer and journalist, Igbalode amassed a number of awards during his stint in journalism, including: the Merit Award, Business & IT Solution category of the Siemens Journalism Profile Awards, South Africa. He is also a two-time winner of the Nigerian Media Merit Award in the telecoms category. He is an associate member of Chartered Institute of Marketing Communications of Nigeria.

    Aforonwa, a 2003 graduate of Mass Communications from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, holds a Masters degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos.

    Before joining Mediacraft, she was a Consultant, Strategy and Communications, at Marketing Mix, a Lagos-based PR firm. She was also a sub-editor with M2 Weekly, an IMC-focused journal. While at Marketing Mix, she also functioned as the Project Manager of M2 Brandwagon, a thought leadership forum for managers in the country's marketing communications industry.

    The promotion and appointment, according to Mr. John Ehiguese, CEO of Mediacraft Associates, are part of the process of repositioning the company in order to deliver cutting-edge services to its clientele.
