  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) November 09, 2013 - There's a first time for everything. Mecca Studios is proud to present the new independent feature film, "Once is Enough," the first full-length feature film produced by George Mecca, Lorraine Mecca, Coleman Henry, and the first live-action feature film from writer/director Paul Csige. The comedy/drama/fantasy film follows John Everman as he finds his way in modern America. The event will also mark the first time that a world premiere event has been held at Venetian Cinemas, located at 2661 Midway Road, in Carrollton, Texas as they roll out the red carpet for the stars and crew and welcome audiences for the first night of a six-week run of the independent film. "Once is Enough" will start at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, with guests arriving at 5:00 p.m. and actors and crew walking the red carpet from 5:15 to 5:45 in the Hollywood-style premiere. The trailer, which can be seen on youtube (one is enough - official trailer), is currently running with all films at Venetian Cinemas. Soon guests can go online to Venetian Cinemas to purchase tickets for the world premiere event.

Csige, who holds degrees from Berklee College of Music and The New York Film Academy, has worked in both the television and film industries for almost a decade. This is the first live-action feature film for the writer/director (and surfer), having completed the feature film, Voyagers: The First Hawaiians, which aired on PBS in 2010. Csige has shot and edited commercials and trailers as well as being director of photography on both a music video and an independent film.

"Once Is Enough" is a comedy/drama/fantasy set in the sprawl of a 21st-century American city. John Everman is recently divorced and reluctant to start over. On a beer run, John's car suddenly breaks down in front of a warehouse run by Bob, an out-of-work Wizard. John, played by multiple actors during the film, sees an opportunity to get his old life back by trying out new ones. Bob gives John new lives and he's swept away on adventures as other people but will they give him the life he truly wants?

Paul is excited to share this story, commenting, "This Dallas-based family venture involves 4 generations and 15 family members; it is a family movie, but not in the traditional sense. Are you looking for a new life?"
