  • (1888PressRelease) December 18, 2013 - MIAMI - Nationally recognized public accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC (MBAF) has added Juan Del Busto, former regional executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Miami branch, as a consulting advisor. The announcement was made by Tony Argiz, Chairman and CEO of MBAF.

    Del Busto began his career with the Fed in 1973 as a computer operator and advanced through various positions at the organization, culminating in his appointment as regional executive in 2008. He retired from the Fed in December 2012, and is current chairman of Del Busto Capital Partners, Inc. (DCP) is a private firm held by the family with various investments and companies.

    Del Busto is active in several professional and civic organizations, including the Florida Bankers Association, the Hispanic American Bankers Association, the American Numismatic Association, the NFL Alumni Association and the South Florida Touchdown Club Foundation. Del Busto serves as a trustee for the United Way of Miami-Dade County, on the board of directors of the Florida Council of Economic Education and the Center for Financial Training. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Superintendent's Business Advisory committee for Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

    Del Busto received a Bachelor of Science from Florida International University and completed the executive development program at Ohio State University. He is a member of Florida International University's Presidents Council and Alumni Association, the Miami Dade College Business School Advisory Committee and the Ohio State University Alumni Association.
