On October 2, 2011 at 6:30 p.m., as part of Brooklyn (BK) Fashion Week{end} Lindauer is set to take a bite out of the big apple, teaming up with Carlos by Carlos Santana™ shoes to showcase her latest line, lil lucy, AT INDUSTRY CITY @ Bush Terminal (241 Third Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232).

Now in its fourth year, Brooklyn (BK) Fashion Week{end} is presented by the BK Style Foundation, a nonprofit that empowers at-risk youth through fashion and hosted by Industry City at Bush Terminal. The event will benefit MTV Staying Alive Foundation with a silent auction and Live 4 Fashion Fundraiser after-party on Sept 30, 2011.

The theme of this year's showcase is "Fashion Freedom" in which each designer's new collection celebrates the freedom of style combined with a global element. lil lucy's Spring 2012 collection one of six collections to close out BK Fashion Week{end} and embodies exactly that. "I was deeply inspired by music of the Caribbean and by listening to artists like Bob Marley and Wyclef Jean, I was able to create my own interpretation of island life derived from great music. My color palette for this collection is a reflection of an island reminiscent of a Haitian painting," says Lindauer.

The show's collaboration brings together two brands that both represent the confluence of rock n' roll, fashion and culture. Accessorizing designer Lindauer's fashion-forward 2012 collection with sleek, sexy, neutral-toned footwear, Carlos by Carlos Santana Fall 2011 shoes was an ideal fit.
